Have you ever thought about your soul?
Ezekiel 18:4 says “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
1. Our Appointment - We will all face our Creator.
(Hebrews 9:27) “As it is appointed unto men once to die
and after this the judgment.”
2. Our Appearance - We are
all sinners in God’s sight.
(Romans 5:12) “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into
the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all
men, for that all have sinned.”
(Romans 3:23) “For all have sinned and come short of the
glory of God.”
3. Our Assumptions - Our works cannot save
us.
(Ephesians 2:8&9), “For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not
of works, lest any man should boast.”
(Isaiah 64:6), “But we are all as an unclean thing, and
all our righteousness are as filthy rags...”
4. God’s Absolute Judgment- Cast in the lake of fire.
(Rom. 6:23), “For the wages of sin is death...”
(Revelation 21:8), “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and
the abominable, and murderers ... idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second death.”
God’s Plan Of Salvation
1. Recognize that you are a sinner and repent.-
“(I John 1:8) "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one.” (Romans 3:10)
“ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves,
and the truth is not in us.”
2. Realize that Christ is the only way.-
And Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life;: no man cometh
unto the Father, but by me.”
(John 14:6)
“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be
saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:31)
3. Remember Christ died for your redemption.-
But God commendeth His love toward us in that while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
4. Recite a prayer from your heart repenting
of your sins and ask Jesus Christ to be
your Lord and personal Savior. -
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom.10:13)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised
Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
